Liverpool manager Arne Slot became the latest manager in Premier League history with the most points and goal differences in the first 11 matches in the English top flight.

The former Feyenoord manager, Arne Slot, took the Premier League by storm, defeating teams like Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, he is not the only manager with most points in the first 11 Premier League matches.

1. Arne Slot: (Liverpool-2024/25) 28 Points

The current Liverpool manager Slot has a good start to his Liverpool managerial career. Slot has secured 28 points in his first 11 Premier League matches.

Many football fans have tipped Arne Slot’s side to win the Premier League for the 2024-25 season.

2. John Gregory: (Aston Villa, 1997/98): 28 points

The former Aston Villa manager, Gregory, helped Aston Villa get 28 points in the 1997-98 Premier League season after his first 11 matches.

Aston Villa finished the season in the 7th place of the table with 57 points from 38 games. 

3. Guus Hiddink: (Chelsea-2008/09)-28 Points

Hiddink was one of the most successful interim managers in Chelsea’s history.

After Scolari was sacked in the 2008/09 season, Hiddink took over and was able to secure 28 points in 11 matches in the Premier League.

4. Carlo Ancelotti: (Chelsea-2009/10) – 27 points

Former Chelsea manager Ancelotti got 27 points in his first 11 Premier League matches at Chelsea in the 2009-10 season. 

The Chelsea side finished the 2009-10 season as the Champions of England with 86 points from 38 games.

However, he got sacked in the 2010-11 season after Chelsea failed to win a single trophy.

The Italian manager Sarri helped Chelsea secure 27 points in his first 11 Premier League matches in the 2018/19 season.

His tactical brillancy made Chelsea finish in the third place of the Premier League table with 72 points in 38 matches. 

6. Frank Clark (Nottingham Forest, 1992-93) 27 Points

Former Nottingham Forest manager Frank Clark made the Forest team one of the most difficult teams to beat in the Premier League in the 1992-93 season. 

Clark helped Nottingham Forest secure 27 points from 11 matches.

However, the Forest team finished at the bottom of the table with 40 points from 42 matches. 

7. Felipe Scolari: (Chelsea, 2008-09) -26 Points

The World Cup-winning manager Scolari became the Chelsea manager after Avram Grant in the 2008-09 season.

He helped Chelsea secure 26 points in his first 11 matches in the Premier League.

Despite this incredible achievement, he was sacked in the middle of the season.

Chelsea finished in the 3rd place of the Premier League table with 83 points. 

8. Jose Mourinho: (Chelsea, 2004-05) 26 points 

The legendary Chelsea manager had 26 points in the first 11 matches in the 2004-05 season.

9. Ange Postecoglou: (Tottenham Hotspur, 2023-24) 26 Points

During Ange Postecoglou’s first season at Tottenham Hotspur, the Australian was able to get 26 points in his first 11 Premier League matches. 

In those impressive runs, a lot of football fans see the Spurs as a title contender.

However, they fell below expectations and went ahead to finish 5th with 66 points from 38 matches. 

10. Ronald Koeman: (Southampton, 2014-15) 25 Points

The current Netherlands manager, Ronald Koeman, got 25 points during his first 11 matches in the 2014-15 Premier League season for Southampton. 

The Southampton side ended the season in 7th place with 60 points in 38 matches.
