Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has been named the sexiest coach in the Premier League according to a report by a United Kingdom publication, Daily Mirror.

The Italian tactician was voted by a penal of 10 women who have a keen interest in the Premier League. Nine of the 10 panelists agreed that coach Antonio Conte is sexier than the other 19 club managers in the Premier League.

The women did not base their judgment on the fact that Conte is one of the few coaches in the Premier League that always show up to a live game with expensive-looking suits and well-arranged hairline.

According to Mirror’s report, the women are wowed by the posture of Antonio Conte during pre or post-match interviews. They also enjoy the Italian tactician’s ascent.

The women love Antonio Conte to the extent they rated Aston Vila coach Steven Gerrard second in their ranking of the sexiest coaches in the league. This is a surprise because Steven Gerrard is way younger than Conte.

More so, some of the obvious characteristics of Conte could be seen in Gerrard which include Garrard’s lively touchline celebrations, and always showing up for live games in expensive-looking suits.

Just like Conte, Gerrard is always very engaging during press conferences. To cap it up, the former Rangers coach is the son of the soil but that was not enough reason to rate him above Conte.

Hence, Antonio Conte won the pool with 89 points, while Steven Gerrard came second with 86 points.

In third place is the new manager of Newcastle United, Eddie Howe who earned 82 points from the women’s evaluation.

Arsenal manager who is younger and sometimes looks sharper than Antonio Conte came fourth with 80 points. While his former boss at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola came 5th with 74 points.

Antonio Conte continue to struggle in the January transfer window

Though women are loving Antonio Conte’s look, the Italian tactician is not having the best of time in the January transfer window.

Recall that Conte was appointed the coach of Tottenham in November 2021 when it was looking like the club would drop off from the top ten in the Premier League.

His arrival turned things around within months and Spurs are now competing for a top-four finish. Even though the club is doing better than they used to, Conte is desperately in need of more proven football stars.

His target was to sign midfielder Yves Bissouma and right-back Djed Spence before the January transfer window closes but that is gradually looking impossible.

The January transfer window will close on January 31, 2022, and the coach has not been able to do enough to bring the players to Spurs.

Before now, the coach was trying to bring in Adama Traore from Wolves this January. Unfortunately for him, the Spanish footballer decided to join FC Barcelona on loan.

Conte also wanted to sign Diaz but before he could do much, Liverpool signed him for £46 million leaving him to continue to search for a new player 24 hours to the end of the transfer window.

He is reportedly planning to use the remaining hours in the transfer window to concentrate on the signing of Bissouma and Djed.
