Antonio Conte Could be announced as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur any moment from now all things being equal. The negotiation between the Premier League club and the Italian coach has reached an advanced level.
Earlier, Futballnews reported that Tottenham Hotspur have sacked coach Nuno Espirito Santo who was appointed the coach of the club last summer.
The Portuguese tactician took charge of the club less than four months after Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho due to a poor run of games. Nuno was in charge of the club for just 17 games in all competitions before he was sacked.
From the start of the season, most fans of the club were very critical of his style of football. They even booed him after a 0-3 home defeat at the hands of Manchester United on October 30.
Reports in England claimed that Antonio Conte was expected in London to finalize talks with the Tottenham Hotspur board and might be announced the club’s new coach any moment from now.
A report by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Antonio Conte is ready to become the coach of Tottenham Hotspur.
The transfer expert also claimed that negotiations have reached the final stage and it might take hours of discussion before an agreement could be reached.
He tweeted: “Antonio Conte is ready to accept Tottenham’s proposal. Talks underway and understood to be ‘at final stages’ – salary and long term contract discussed but he seems convinced to say ‘yes.
“Negotiations to continue in the next few hours to complete the agreement.”

Antonio Conte has been out of a job since last summer when he decided to walk away from Inter Milan after helping them to win the 2020-2021 Italian Serie A title.
Then, the report was that the Italian coach decided to leave the club because he could not agree with some critical transfer decisions.
When Tottenham Hotspur sacked Jose Mourinho last season, the Premier League club reportedly approached Conte but the Italian tactician reportedly turned the club down.
But this time around, it is looking like Antonio Conte would accept a deal with the North London club which would make it the second time he has managed a London-based Premier League club.
Recall that he was the coach of Chelsea between 2016 and 2018. During his time at Chelsea, he helped Spurs’ local rivals to win the 2016-2017 Premier League title and the 2017-2018 FA Cup title.
If Conte joins Tottenham Hotspur, the club’s fans who have been hungry for major titles would wish that the Italian tactician could help them achieve the feat he achieved at Chelsea.
