Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur’s head coach spell at the club might be close to being over after his incredible rant.

The Italian manager lost his cool as his team squandered a 3-1 lead to end up in a 3-3 tie with Southampton.

After the draw, Conte went on a shocking 4.5-minute rant, in which he criticized his players, the Tottenham board, and the club’s culture as a whole.

The Italian’s future with the club has been quite uncertain because his contract will expire at the end of the current campaign.

Yet, it seems that some of his players are now hoping for his immediate expulsion from the club as a result of his outburst.

Antonio Conte in a postgame interview

In a scathing postgame interview, he spoke what was on his mind, criticizing the players for being in it for themselves and not working hard enough to deserve the money they make.

He also mentioned the club’s backstory which has remained the same for the last two decades.

The entire club was not happy with the tone and content of some of the comments made by the ex-Chelsea manager, and that includes the players. The board of directors of the club reportedly has expressed their extreme displeasure.

Furthermore, Conte blasted the media for siding with the players to deflect blame from himself.

According to reports, some Spurs players wish Conte would be fired before their April 3 encounter against Everton in the Premier League.

Most of Conte’s squad has left the club to join up with their national teams for the international break.

If the former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager decides to stay with the club, the next few months will be crucial.

The Italian didn’t just take it out on his players, but also on Spurs owner Joe Lewis and club chairman Daniel Levy.

Spurs are still in the hunt for a top-four spot, but they were knocked out of the League Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League without really putting up a strong performance.

They were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in a 2-0 loss to 10-man Nottingham Forest, rocked 3-0 by Sheffield United in the FA Cup, and blanked AC Milan 2-0 over two legs in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

In the summer, Conte’s contract with Tottenham will expire, and it’s looking less and less probable that the club would offer a new one or that he would accept it if offered.

Zinchenko rolled down his window as he drove through the streets of the capital, blowing his horn and shouting “Come on” to the throngs of supporters celebrating the club’s three points.

Zinchenko’s adoring public responded with cheers and applause as they followed him around the city’s taverns and other public gathering.
