Aside from several tackles from Tottenham players that should have at least resulted in several yellow cards, there was an obvious hair pull right in front of Anthony Taylor which he ignored.

These blunders were so obvious that Chelsea fans did not hold out on blasting the referee, saying he definitely has an agenda against the London side as the league game on Sunday was not the first of his blunders.

Chelsea fans, however, petitioned for the veteran referee to stop officiating matches where Chelsea played against the top six and they claimed he was bent on making the Blue lose or draw.

As of this morning, the petition has received over 80,000 signatures from angry fans all around the world. In the petition, they talked about some of his blunders, which include:

    • Kovacic red card FA Cup Final
    • Maguire stamp on Batshuayi
    • Gazzaniga kick on Alonso
    • Romero pulling Cucurella’s hair (This Happened on Sunday, August 15)
    • Reece James ‘Handball’ v Liverpool
    • Sanchez hand ball FA Cup final
    • Azpilicueta ‘push’
    • Maguire hold on Azpilicueta

Taylor’s effort as Tottenham Hotspur twice overcame deficits to draw 2-2 with Chelsea left Thomas Tuchel unimpressed.

Kalidou Koulibaly’s superb first-half goal gave the Blues the lead, but they were unable to capitalize on their superiority in the game.

In the 68th minute, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored, although there was dispute since the hosts believed Kai Havertz had been fouled earlier in the buildup.

In addition, Richarlison, who was making his debut, was deemed to be blocking Edouard Mendy’s view since he was in an offside position.

After Reece James made it 2-1, Harry Kane scored the game’s second equalizer in stoppage time, but not before Cristian Romero seemed to yank Marc Curucella’s hair and VAR did nothing to stop it.

In addition, Tuchel disagreed with the referee’s decision to dismiss both him and Antonio Conte at the end of the game after the two had fought multiple times.

The referee is from Manchester. Does that make any sense?

In the past, Liverpool supporters were also dissatisfied with Taylor officiating their games, especially for contests against Manchester City and Manchester United. thus the west London club’s supporters weren’t the only ones that don’t trust Anthony Taylor.

But last year, Jurgen Klopp’s team was the one who profited from his choices against City since they avoided having two players sent out under the watch of the referee.

It almost seems as though Anthony Taylor isn’t really prejudiced against any club in particular; his sense of judgment might just be the problem.
