Argentine great Angel Di Maria has taken to Instagram to delineate his love for his daughter, Mia.
The 36-year-old reposted a story posted by his daughter captioned “Papi Te Amo <3” which translates in English to “Daddy I love you”.
In response to the post, Di Maria wrote: “te amo hijita. Yo tambien te extrano mucho” which translates to “I love you, daughter, I miss you too”.
The winger is currently away from his family for international duty with Argentina which explains the message from his daughter.

Angel Di Maria is an Argentine winger, currently plying his trade in the Portuguese league, playing for top-tier club Benfica.
He joined Benfica in July 2023, and in 28 appearances, he would go on to score nine goals and provide 11 assists in the just-concluded season.
Rosario Central in Argentina was where he started his senior career back in 2005 before he gained public attention and joined Benfica two years later. The big move was imminent as he was a promising young player.
Real Madrid called in 2010, and he became a part of the Galacticos, where he made 190 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 85 assists.
In 2014, he moved to Manchester United, for a British fee of €59.7M at the time. However, he would only spend a season at United, claiming he didn’t enjoy his time at the club, due to reasons like not being able to adapt.

Subsequently, he returned to Benfica, where he currently plies his trade, and he has been a lovely player for the side.
