Allan, 31, has been tipped to leave Everton but has a year left on his contract with the Toffees, yet, he will not be a significant part of their plans.

Frank Lampard’s squad will be completely overhauled, and the midfield will receive special attention.

Staff at Goodison Park are being paid off or invited to reapply for their positions as part of the club’s cost-cutting measures.

Allan joined Everton for £22 million from Napoli in September 2020. In Italy, Carlo Ancelotti worked with the Brazilian and offered him a three-year contract at Goodison Park.

Last season, Allan participated in 26 games in all competitions, and he has already surpassed that total this season. The 10-time Brazil international, on the other hand, has had substantially less impact.

Everton’s slip down the Premier League table has coincided with this. After only winning seven games this season, the Toffees are just three points above the relegation zone. However, Allan is about to be let go as Lampard explores new sources of inspiration.

He could be enticed to sign Dutch loan ace Donny van de Beek on a permanent basis. However, Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is expected to take over at Manchester United this summer.

And he’d love to see ex-Ajax star Van de Beek return to Old Trafford. Since his January transfer from Tottenham Hotspur, Dele Alli has yet to make an impact. Any future transfers, however, are contingent on Everton avoiding relegation.
