Al Hilal have signed Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bono from Laliga side Sevilla in another big transfer swoop this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bono’s move to Al Hilal is sealed as the Saudi club have reached agreement for a €21m transfer fee.
The former Wydad Casablanca and Girona goalkeeper is ready for a new challenge with the Saudi club having agreed personal terms with a three-year contract offer till 2026.

Yassine Bono is a Moroccan professional footballer, who plays as a goalkeeper for Saudi club, Al Hilal, and Morocco national team.
Yassine Bono is the latest name to be added to the flurry of big-name exits leaving Europe to the Saudi Pro League this summer. Born on 4 April 1991 in Quebec, Canada, Bono started his professional career with Moroccan and African giants Wydad Casablanca.
He made his first professional debut for the club in 2010 after over a decade with the club’s academy from 1999 to 2010.
Yassine Bono made 10 professional appearances for Wydad Casablanca and moved to Europe, joining Atletico Madrid in 2012.
Bono did not make a single appearance for the Atletico Madrid first team but raked up 47 appearances with the reserve team.
From 2014 to 2016, he went on a loan spell at Real Zaragoza where he made 35 appearances before joining Girona in 2016.
Bono made 83 appearances for Girona and was loaned to Sevilla on his last days at the club in 2019.
Bono impressed on loan at Sevilla in his 6 appearances and was signed on a permanent deal by the Laliga side in 2020. He signed a four-year contract with the club till 2024.
Bono won the Europa League on his debut season with Sevilla, producing stunning knockout heroics to help the Laliga side clinch the title.
His notable performance was a legendary save against Romelu Lukaku’s strike in the 2020 final against Inter Milan, helping the Laliga side win the trophy with a 3-2 victory over Inter Milan.
In 2021, Yassine Bono was the only goalkeeper in Europe’s top five leagues with the most cleansheets (32) for club and country.
He won his second Europa League title with Sevilla in 2023 with another heroic display in the final against Roma in the shootouts.
