There are more interesting developments emanating regarding the possible transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Al Hilal.
Reports indicate that delegates from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal are in Paris as they intend to table their plans to Mbappe.
The Saudi Arabian side are proposing to the Frenchman the opportunity to join the club for only one-season then he can afterwards proceed to leave the club.
Al Hilal are also proposing to him a fixed salary of €200 million in addition to commercial deals and image rights which will shoot-up the deal to €700 million.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain sources still believe that he has agreed a deal which will see him move to Real Madrid for free next summer.
The Mbappe vs PSG contract saga has continued to linger across the media space as both parties are yet to reach a compromise with regards to the next line of action.
Initially, Paris Saint Germain thought Kylian Mbappe will pen a contract extension with the club, which will see him remain at the Parc Des Princes until 2025.
However, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner bluntly expressed to the Parisians that he isn’t signing a contract extension.
With the amount Al Hilal are set to offer him and the guarantee that he could leave for Real Madrid next summer, it is uncertain where the future of Kylian Mbappe lies.
Real Madrid are also reportedly hesitant at tabling an offer for the 24-year-old as they presume he could join the club for free next summer.
Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq
Meanwhile, England international Jordan Henderson is on the verge of completing a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq.
According to tranfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Henderson is presently in the camp of the Saudi Pro League side in order to complete his move to the club.
He will be penning a three-year deal with Al Ettifaq, meaning he will remain with the club until the summer of 2026.
The 33-year-old made 492 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 33 goals and providing 61 assists across all competitions.
Jordan Henderson will be joining Liverpool great Steven Gerrard, who was appointed manager of Al Ettifaq in June, 2023.
The former Coventry City midfielder will become the Saudi Arabian side’s first addition this summer and his arrival will possibly signal the commencement of business for the club.
Henderson signed for Liverpool on the 1st of July, 2011 from Sunderland for a fee of €18 million.
The Englishman has won several trophies with the club including; 1 Premier League title, 1 Champions League title and 1 English FA Cup.
Jordan Henderson becomes the latest high profile signing to move to Saudi Arabia, with Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Roberto Firmino amongst notable names who have also moved to the league this summer.
Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City, Aleksander Mitrovic of Fulham and Allan Saint-Maximin of Newcastle United are also edging closer to moving to the Saudi Pro League.
