Arsenal football star, Ainsley Maitland-Niles seemed to be married to an Instagram influencer known on social media as iamkatyaa or simply Katya.
The 23-year-old Instagram model took to her Instagram story recently to share pictures of herself and the Arsenal right-midfielder that portrayed her as the footballer’s wife.
In one of the series of pictures Katya shared on his Instagram story, the model tagged it with “bestie 4L” which means best friends for life.
To make it clearer, the Kazakhstan-born model tagged another selfie she took with the footballer with “husband & wife, mom & dad” which could imply that they are not just best friends but in a serious relationship or probably married. It could also imply that Maitland-Niles and Katya are expecting a child together.
To confirm that what is going on between Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Katya is not one-sided, the English footballer also took to his Instagram story to share screenshots of the model’s Instagram story.
This means that the Arsenal star is no longer single and probably expecting a child even though he had not officially mentioned it on any platform.
A check on his Instagram page showed that the footballer hardly shares private pictures. Most pictures on the page are about him and his football career.
Before now, Ainsley Maitland-Niles was linked with one Muni, a girl that used to be known as the footballer’s girlfriend.
In 2020, the footballer and Muni were seen going on shopping. They have been seen posing together as two lovers that were made for each other.
Also in 2020, there were reports that the footballer and Muni were expecting a child together but no report has confirmed the birth of the child yet.
A check on Muni’s Instagram page showed that she has deleted the page and there is no evidence on Ainsley Maitland-Niles page to prove that the footballer is still with Muni.
Hence, it is safe to conclude that Maitland-Niles and Muni are no longer together and the footballer’s current girlfriend [or wife] is Katya also known as iamkatyaa.
The footballer who is currently battling to play regularly under coach Mikel Arteta has less than two seasons left on his contract with Arsenal. It is however looking like he might leave the club before the expiration of his contract because he is not happy that he has not been playing regularly for the club.
