Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has mentioned four big clubs in Europe his client could move to this coming summer or 2023 summer.

Agent Mino Raiola identified Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Manchester City as the four clubs that could sign Erling Haaland next summer.

The 21-year-old Norwegian striker has been one of the most sought-after strikers in the world due to how frequently he scores goals for Borussia Dortmund.

Recall that Erling Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund on January 1, 2020, from RB Salzburg for a transfer fee worth €20 million. Since then, he has scored 74 goals and provided 19 assists in 72 appearances in all competitions.

So far this season, Haaland who won the 2020 Golden Boy award has scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists in 13 games in all competitions.

Based on speculations, the Norway international has a release clause in his contract worth £64 million which means that in the coming summer Erling Haaland could join any club of his choice which can pay for the release clause.

Hence, a series of European giants including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in the Norwegian striker.

Ahead of the heavily publicized summer transfer window, agent Mino Raiola revealed that there is a big chance that Erling Haaland could take the next step in his career.

“Maybe this summer, maybe the summer after. But there is a big chance that Erling will leave this summer. We will see”, agent Mino Raiola told SPORT1.

“He can and will take the next step. Bayern, Real, Barcelona, City – these are the big clubs he can go to. City have won the championship five times in the last few years, much more than United.

“We all knew when we moved to Dortmund that this step would come…

“We will tell BVB [Borussia Dortmund] what our idea is and BVB will tell us their ideas. But no decision will be made in the winter.

“He is someone who wants to develop, who is looking for new challenges. And of course, it’s also a question of the alternative. You only change if you have a better alternative.”

Though he admitted that Erling Haaland might leave Dortmund next summer, agent Mino Raiola failed to confirm the amount in Haaland’s release clause.

The agent said: “Whatever is in a contract is in a contract. That remains between me and the player.

“There are only two parties who are allowed to say something to the outside world – the club and the player. I never talk about details. We and Dortmund know exactly what has to happen. We have structured it very clearly.

“Contract or not, we always have very open communication with [Hans-Joachim] Watzke, [Michael] Zorc, and now [Sebastian] Kehl. We deal with each other honestly. That is much more important than anything written on paper.

“Paper is only there if something goes wrong, then you need that. But not otherwise.”
