Ademola Lookman Looks set to return to English a premier league. Lookman, formally played for Everton and has been linked in recent days to return to English Premiere League with Newcastle United.
Though it’s up in the air for now, as there’s been no confirmation, Everton fans were hit with a low blow by the news and didn’t hide their feelings on social media. Some Everton fans have suggested bringing back Ademola Lookman, following rumours that he could make a move to Newcastle United.
Lookman left Everton this past summer to join RB Leipzig in a £22 million deal, but his time in Germany has been more sour than sweet. Lookman, struggled for game time at Leipzig, where he has failed to make an impact since signing permanently.
With Newcastle looking in the market for a new attacker, it would only make sense for them to contact him. However, some Everton fans think that they should offer the youngster a chance to come back to Goodison Park. Whether Lookman would be interested in coming back to Everton is questionable. If Lookman was brought to Everton he would be in competition with the likes of Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott for a first-team place. This may not very much help his situation as he would still be in the same position he was before leaving the club.
The England youth international was desperate for more game with the Toffees, but was never really given a regular starting chance. Moving to Newcastle is a sure win for him as he will not only get playing time but make an impact on the Club.
