The club’s announcement which was written in Italian read: ‘The consensual termination of the contract that bound Aaron Ramsey to Juventus is official.”

The Welsh international was reportedly making £400,000 a week while playing for Juventus; but due to how difficult it was for him to adapt in Turin, he was recently loaned out to Rangers.

When he returned to Juventus this summer, the club decided to part ways with the former Arsenal star player.

As it stands, his future is currently uncertain as there are few or no teams interested in signing him even as a free agent. One of the rumors that might be true is that Ramsey will stay in Italy and work for Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza team. The famous Italian politician is rumored to be interested in signing a star, making the former Arsenal player’s next role ideal.

Meanwhile, Ramsey is believed to have turned down the chance to play for former teammate Andrea Pirlo at Karagumruk in Turkey. But Galatasaray has shown interest in the player which has increased his chances of competing in the Turkish league.

Ramsey might also be compelled to join his teammate Gareth Bale in the Major League Soccer (MLS), since numerous American sides are sure to be monitoring Ramsey’s availability.

When Aaron Ramsey first joined Juventus on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2019, the Italian club agreed to pay him £400,000 per week with the hope that he could dominate Italian football.

Unfortunately, Ramsey found it difficult to justify the pay as he only made 49 appearances for the team in three years in which he scored just five goals.

Amid that, Ramsey made a loan move to Scottish club Rangers in January of this year. He played in seven games and scored twice during his brief stay at Ibrox.

Before he returned to Juventus for pre-season training this summer, the Italian club has since made it clear that he would not be returning to the Allianz Stadium, and they have made the simplest of announcements to that effect.

Hence, the one-time star player for Arsenal is currently without a club. Aaron Ramsey was considered one of the best midfielders in the world during his time with Arsenal. But the club’s struggle to challenge for trophies was one of the reasons he left.

His move to Juventus in 2019 came with a lot of expectations which he failed to live up to.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ new midfielder Paul Pogba has picked up a knee injury that was why he didn’t feature in the club’s preseason game against FC Barcelona which ended in a 2-2 draw. He might not be available for most part of the first phase of the 2022-2023 season.
