Today’s MLS match between Charlotte FC and La galaxy was a big match to watch and it didn’t end well for Charlotte FC who played in front of over 70,00 fans. LA Galaxy was the better side and that showed throughout the game.
It was an inaugural home match for Charlotte as they broke the MLS standalone attendance record, they had 74,479 fans in the stands but they lost.

It was a heartbreaking loss to the City of Charlotte. Efrain Alvarez scored the fantastic goal for LA Galaxy and LA won 1 – 0.
LA Galaxy had lots of chances, they had more short on goal than Charlotte FC but only one shot went in.
Charlotte FC’s attendance record number was 74,479 and the closest in attendance record in the MLS was Atlanta United when they hosted the 2018 MLS cup, that attendance was 73,019.
“We have been doing it differently since day one, and we’re not doing it to be disruptive and to be loud, we’re doing it because we actually think it will help us win on the field and off the field,” former Charlotte FC president and now-CEO of parent company Tepper Sports and Entertainment (TSE) Nick Kelly told ESPN for a feature this week. “If we can’t be the first person to do it, or we can’t be the best at it, or the only one who’s doing it, why are we doing it?”
