Idrissa Gana Gueye and Abdou Diallo both play for Paris Saint-Germain and they are also from Senegal. Both players represented Senegal in the recently concluded AFCON tournament, Senegal won the AFCON championship this year 2022 and these two champs got a warm welcome from PSG when they returned to the team.
This is a big thing for Africa, most big clubs do not respect the AFCON tournament and they hardly want to release their players to come home and play for their home country.
