Paul Pogba is a professional football player who hails from France, he currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Man United, and also plays for his national team. Pogba started his professional football career with the youth team of Le Havre Athletic Club in 2007. He majorly plays as a central midfielder, but he can also play as both attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder. Pogba was transferred to Man United in 2009, where he started his senior career as a footballer, due to his less appearance in their matches he had to leave Man United in 2012 to Join the Italian giants Juventus on a free transfer.
In Juventus, Pogba was given the chance to show his playing skills, he helped the club win four Serial A league consecutively, he also won two Copa Italia and two Super Copa Italiana. He proved himself worthy as one of the most promising young players, he got the Golden Boy award in 2013 and Bravo Award in 2014. In 2016 Pogba was also included in the 2015 UEFA team of the year and also 2015 FIFA Pro World Eleven, he helps his team to the final of the UEFA Champions League after 12years.
Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 for a world record transfer fee of 105 million euros, he is the first player to be bought for an amount that high by English Club. currently, he is the second-highest-paid player in Man U United after David De Gea, his Annual salary is estimated to be £15,080,000 and £290,000 per week. After his return to Manchester United in 2016 he won the league cup the first season.
In 2013 Pogba captained the U-20 France team in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World cup, his team won the tournament and he also took the award of the best player in the tournament home. He played for the senior team for the first time in 2014 and also played in the 2014 world cup where he was awarded as the young best player for his excellent performance, he played in the UEFA Euro 2016 in France and also went on to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup after scoring in the final.
Pogba was born in Lagny in Seine-et-Marne on 15 March 1993, he is currently 27years, his parents are Guinea citizens. Pogba is not the only one blessed with football skills in his family as he has two older twin brothers Fiorentina and Mathias who play for the Guinea national team.
Pogba started playing football when he was six years, he first played for US Roissy-en-Brie, a football club not far from his hometown for seven seasons, in 2006 he moved to US torch where he captains the U-13 team of the club before he eventually joins Le Havre Athletic Club in 2007.
Last year Pogba’s girlfriend Maria Salues gave birth to a baby boy, but the duo is yet to be married.
