Neymar Jnr told ESPN, “Those who know me know who I am, and that’s what important to me.”

“Those who don’t know me and only speak negatively about me, I simply ignore them; however, I hope they will watch this documentary and, hopefully, their perception of me will change.

“I’m hoping they’ll grow to like me… even if it’s only a little!

“Only a few individuals truly know who I am. Just my closest friends, family, and a few teammates, and now I feel like I can share a little more of my life, of how I am on a daily basis, at work, at home, as a father, a son, and a brother. I’m hoping that this film reveals that side to the public.

“It’s what we’ve worked on, and we’re showing the truth 100 percent of the time, and that’s what counts.”

‘The Perfect Chaos’ is the title of the series, which reflects the dramatic story behind the Brazilian.

“It’s called that because that’s how my life has always been,” Neymar said.

“I’ve been in an accident with my parents since I was six months old, and that’s when the mayhem began. We were able to recover after that, and nothing happened to me.

“Then I became a football player. Of course, I’ve had many wonderful times in my life, but I’ve also had a lot of craziness.”

Neymar has never hidden his dissatisfaction with the attention he has received in both Brazil and Europe.

He advised, “You must keep your head on straight so you don’t tumble or crumble.”

“My teammates are just as essential as my family and friends. They’re always there for me, so if I’m having a bad day, they can console me with a kind word or a hug.

“But I believe I am now in a position of strength. I’m a strong man, not only physically but mentally as well, because I have to cope with so much pressure as a result of who I am, where I play, being Brazilian, and a variety of other factors.

“But, I have a strong mind now, and I’ve had to work really hard to get it that way, and I believe that’s the other really fantastic thing about me, that I can play football while also focusing on my mental health.”

Neymar is now unable to play due to injury, but he hopes to return in time to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
