Paris Saints Germain center-back, Presnel Kimpembe did not want his children – Kayis and Kahil to dream of Disneyland, he allowed them to experience it in reality.
The 26-year-old French footballer who is married to Sarah Kimpembe has proven to be a great father figure over the years. He always tries to give his children the kind of life he didn’t have when he was growing up.
Presnel Kimpembe was born in a less advanced part of France, Beaumont-sur-Oise to a father from Congo and a mother from Haitian. Based on this, the French international did not experience the luxury a city like Paris possesses when he was a child.
Lucky enough for him, football paved the way. His breakthrough came very early through the youth system of PSG. Presnel Kimpembe started to play for the club’s under 17 teams on July 1, 2011.
Due to his enormous ability to defend, he gained accelerated promotion to the club’s senior team on July 1, 2015. Based on the most recent contract the 26-year-old defender signed with the French giants, Presnel Kimpembe earns £9,100,000 per year.
Based on this, the 26-year-old France international earns a whopping £175,000 per week aside from the match bonuses he earns whenever he is on international duty with France national football team.
Aside from the money he earns from football, Presnel Kimpembe is a businessman. He makes side money from his streetwear collection called PK3 Paris which he launched in June 2020.
Reports in France claimed that the net worth of Presnel Kimpembe is £26,007,280 which means that he has enough money to give his two sons, Kayis and Kahil.
When the football star took to his Instagram page on Monday to share pictures and a clip showing when he took his boys to Disneyland, the footballer wrote in French that “We never needed to dream about Disneyland so much”.
The aforementioned statement could be a summary of the kind of life Presnel Kimpembe lived while growing up where such a luxurious experience is not even close to his second thoughts.
But now, the footballer who has been at PSG all his life has worked so hard that a visit to Disneyland is just a basic activity for his children.
Just like how his kids are living their dreams, Kimpembe is currently living one of his dreams as a footballer which is to play in the same team as one of the most decorated footballers in the world, Lionel Messi.
The 6 times Ballon d’Or winner joined PSG on August 11 and his yet to play a competitive game with Kimpembe so far. However, that is expected to happen on Sunday, August 29, 2021, when PSG visit Reims for their third league game of the season. The match will kick off at 19:45.
Unlike Lionel Messi that has just two years contract with PSG, Presnel Kimpembe still has three seasons left on his contract with the French club.
All things being equal, the defender who has made 184 appearances in all competitions in which he scored a goal and provided an assist could extend his contract with PSG in the nearest future.
