Barcelona confirmed he will not be a part of the team as he will be out of action for approximately 9 days before returning to full fitness.

Lamine Yamal

Lamine Yamal is another top footballer that will be missed in the November international break. The 18-year-old picked up an injury blow during Barcelona’s 5-2 Champions League win over Crvena Zvezda.

He watched on the stands as Barcelona lost to Real Sociedad. Barcelona confirmed Lamine Yamal will not be in action for the Spain national team in the break, as he is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks.

Bukayo Saka

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will miss England’s double-header UEFA Nations League clash against Greece and Ireland in the November international break. Saka picked up an injury during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the 23-year-old’s injury, including that of his teammate, Declan Rice, ‘weren’t looking good.’

He has pulled out of the England squad to continue his recovery and rehabilitation with Arsenal.

Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard

Declan Rice is among footballers ruled out of action in the November international break. Rice was injured with Bukayo Saka in the Chelsea match. He has withdrawn from the England squad for the break and will continue his recovery with Arsenal.

Another Arsenal star Martin Odegaard will miss action for his national team, Norway, in the break. Odegaard recently recovered from a lengthy injury layoff he picked up while on international action with Norway. He has withdrawn from Norway squad.

Cole Palmer

Manchester City Academy graduate and Chelsea star Cole Palmer will not play for England in the November international break.

The 2023-24 Premier League Young Player of the Year was reportedly nursing an injury from Chelsea’s draw with Manchester United but was able to play the full 90 minutes.

He was in action against Arsenal in the last match before the international break but was not at his full fitness. He has withdrawn from the England squad for the break.

Kylian Mbappe among footballers ruled out of action in the November international break

Kylian Mbappe is among the top footballers ruled out of the November international break. The French national team captain hasn’t been called up by Didier Deschamps for their UEFA Nations League matches, and it is understood he is not injured.

We reported earlier that the player has opted to pick the number of international matches he could play due to congested fixtures. He was not part of the French squad for the October international break and will again be missing from the squad.

Eder Militao

Real Madrid sensation Eder Militao will not be in action for Brazil. We reported earlier that Militao had picked up an ACL injury and has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season.

The defender was expected to join Brazil in their CONMEBOL 2026 World Cup qualifiers during the break before being sidelined with the season-ending injury.

Endrick

Another Real Madrid sensation, Endrick, will be missing from action for the Brazil national team in the November international break.

Endrick is not injured but has been left out of the Brazil squad by head coach Dorivial Junior due to his lack of game time at Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old and former Palmeiras star has won only 9 caps with Brazil and will be hoping to play regular club football to win back his place in the squad.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool sensation Trent Alexander-Arnold is among the top footballers ruled out of action in the November international break. The prolific right-back could only play for 25 minutes for Liverpool against Aston Villa before being hurled with injury.

Liverpool have confirmed he will be sidelined for at least 2 to 3 weeks before returning to full fitness. As expected, Trent Alexander-Arnold made Lee Carsley’s England squad for the UEFA Nations League double-header against Greece and Ireland, but he has pulled out due to injury.

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah will not be in action for Egypt in the November international break. The prolific forward, who has the most goal contributions (14) in the Premier League this season, has not been called up by Egypt.

He is in finefettle and was in action, scoring a goal in the Reds’ 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at the weekend. The reason for his omission from the Egypt squad is unclear. However, there are suggestions he is limiting his number of matches at the international scene due to the congested fixtures for Liverpool.
