“It’s a fantastic style, how they defend, the way they attack so for sure, I don’t have any doubt that he’s going to do a great job.”

When Did Manchester United Appoint Ruben Amorim As Head Coach?

Manchester United confirmed the appointment of Amorim on November 1, 2024, following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag on October 28, 2024.

Ruben Amorim will assume his position as boss of the Old Trafford side on November 11, 2024.

Amorim was in the technical area when Sporting Lisbon smashed Estrela da Amadora 5-1 on Friday, November 1, 2024, in a matchday Liga Portugal fixture.

Ruben Amorim will also be in charge of Sporting Lisbon’s clash with Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, before ending his spell with the club on November 10, 2024, with an away game against former club Braga.

Matches Ruben Amorim Will Handle As Caretaker Coach Of Manchester United

Ruud Van Nistelrooy will handle the hosts in the fixture as he hopes to turn the fortunes of the club in a positive direction.

Van Nistelrooy was in the technical area when Manchester United smashed Leicester City 5-2 in the 4th round of the Carabao Cup.

As aforementioned, he will also manage the English giants in their clash with Chelsea in the Premier League alongside PAOK in the Europa League, and Leicester City again in the Premier League.

    Enzo Maresca At Chelsea

Enzo Maresca was made boss of Chelsea in the summer of 2024, following the exit of Argentine tactician Mauricio Pochettino.

Maresca has done an okay job handling the Blues, as they look to be producing better performances in comparison to their display last season.

Enzo Maresca has lost just 4 of their 15 matches this campaign across all competitions, winning 9 games and drawing 2.

Unfortunately, one of their defeats thus far has reduced their chances of claiming silverware this campaign, as they were bundled out of the Carabao Cup in the fourth round after losing 2-0 to Newcastle United.

    Chelsea

Chelsea are in a favorable position of progressing to the knockout phase of the UEFA Conference League and they occupy the 6th spot on the Premier League table, having recorded 17 points from 9 matches.

If they claim victory today, they will be shooting up to the 3rd position on the Premier League table.

Chelsea haven’t won a game at Old Trafford since 2013 and despite Manchester United’s poor form, many football enthusiasts believe it will be difficult for the Blues to get a victory in Manchester.
