Real Madrid are headlining the list of top football clubs that have yet to taste defeat in the ongoing 2024-25 football season.

The 2024-25 football season is up and running with major European leagues already taking shape.

Some teams have made a great start to the current campaign, while a couple of others are still yet to find their feet.

In this article, we will be looking at some of the European teams that have made an unbeaten start to the 2024-25 season.

Real Madrid

Football Clubs

Real Madrid have yet to record a defeat this season. They are on a nine-game unbeaten run in La Liga even while not playing particularly well.

Bolstered by the signing of Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid have found a way of getting results. They currently sit in second place in La Liga with 24 points after 10 games, recording seven wins and three draws so far.

Manchester City among undefeated Football Clubs this season

Pep Guardiola’s men are among football clubs that are yet to record a defeat this season. They have made a great start to their attempt at defending their league title for the fifth time in a row and are currently the only team unbeaten team in the Premier League, losing none of their opening seven games.

And as usual, they have once again imposed themselves as the team to beat in the current campaign. They currently sit below Liverpool on the rankings and have recorded five wins and two draws, contributing to their 17 points in seven outings so far.

Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich were knocked off their perch at the apex of the Bundesliga ranking last season by Bayern Leverkusen. They have looked like a team determined to regain their spot this season.

There were questions raised on when the Bavarians brought in Vincent Kompany from Burnley, but the Belgian has, to some extent, extinguished some of the existing doubts. They currently sit top of the Bundesliga table with 17 points, winning five and drawing two of their opening seven games.

Paris St-Germain

The French giants have coped well without the firepower of Kylian Mbappe, and have made a great start to life without the forward.

The departure of Kylian Mbappe seems to have been offset by a few major signings over the summer. The likes of Bradley Barcola, Joao Neves, and Warren Zaire-Emery, are leading the pack as the French side sit top of the Ligue 1 rankings with 17 points in eight games, winning six and drawing two.

Juventus

Juventus are among football clubs that have yet to taste defeat this season. Head coach Thiago Motta has made a dream start to his managerial life at the club, going unbeaten in his opening eight games in Serie A.

The Italian was brought to Turin to return the team to the domestic powerhouse and possibly challenge for European titles.

Under his watch, Juventus currently sit second on the Serie A rankings with 16 points in eight games, recording four wins and four draws so far.

RB Leipzig

Another team that has made an unbeaten run in the Bundesliga is RB Leipzig. They have emerged as a serious contender for the 2024-25 Bundesliga title.

The Marco Rose side currently sits second in the Bundesliga ranking, level on points with Bayern Munich but just sits below due to Bayern’s superior goal difference. They have 17 points from seven games, winning five and drawing two.

Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone’s side join Real Madrid on the list of unbeaten teams in the La Liga so far this season, going unbeaten in their opening nine games.

Atletico Madrid have earned a reputation as being hard to beat over recent years, with the team’s defensive nature proving to be a challenge for opponents in most cases.

It has been a similar story this season for the Spanish side. They have conceded just five goals in nine games and currently sit third in La Liga on 17 points, after winning four and drawing five of their opening nine games.

Monaco

AS Monaco are looking to push PSG all the way this season, after finishing second place, nine points below the French giants last season.

They have recorded 20 points, the same as PSG, so far this season in eight games, but sit below Luis Enrique’s side due to goal difference. Similarly to PSG, they have recorded six wins and two draws so far.

Lens

Will Still’s Lens are yet to record a loss in their opening eight league games.

The French side have made a great start to life under the Belgian and are looking likely to better their seventh-place finish in the Ligue 1 last season. They currently sit fifth, with three wins and seven draws contributing to their 14 points so far.
