Manchester United right-back Noussair Mazraoui had undergone medical surgery for his wrong amount of heartbeats.
The Red Devils source confirmed that the right back, who joined Manchester United from Bayern Munich in the 2024/25 season, had a minor precautionary procedure after suffering from the wrong amount of heartbeats.
The Moroccan is expected to be out for a few weeks, making Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot the only fit right back for the Red Devils ahead of a must-win game against Brentford.
However, he will only return to action when he is deemed fit by the surgeons. It is not the first time the player suffered a heart problem.
He suffered heart complications during the World Cup vacation during his playing time at Bayern Munich.
Noussair Mazraoui had COVID-19 during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He was forced to miss the quarterfinal match between Portugal and Morocco, where the Atlas Lion defeated the Portuguese side.
Mazraoui has been Manchester United right back since the beginning of the 2024-25 season ahead of Dalot.
Dalot, on the other hand, has been playing on the left side of the pitch for Manchester United ahead of injured Luke Shaw and nearly fit Tyrell Malacia.
Mazraoui has been performing exceptionally since he moved to the Red Devils in the 2024-25 season.
With the non-availability of Mazraoui ahead of the Brentford game, Dalot will be taken to the right side of the pitch, which is likely to make Lisandro Martinez play on the left side.
