The Italian Police have questioned Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi on October 9, 2024, over a criminal case between the Inter Milan Ultras fans and a criminal mafia group.

Last week, the Italian police aggressively arrested 19 highly prolific ultras fans of the Serie A giants, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
These highly prolific fans were suspected to have connections with Ndrangheta, Europe’s top mafia group originating from the southern Calabria region.
In the 568-page police arrest warrant, prosecutors in charge of the criminal case gave out a well-detailed report about how the Ultras fans senior member Marco Ferdico spoke to the Inter Milan boss, Inzaghi, on the phone.
This was orchestrated to allow the Inter Milan boss to lobby some directors to allow more seats for the fan group.
The prosecutors went ahead to give out a claim that both Inter Milan and AC Milan Ultras fans are offenders in the case.
Inter Milan failed to comment on the criminal case. The club revealed they are cooperating with the security authorities in a bid to provide more information, if any, in relation to the case.
