Veiga began his career at the age of 7 in 2010, playing for Sporting CP Youth from 2010 to 2013. He then moved to Real S.C Academy in 2013 and nursed his career at the outfit for 6 years before returning to Sporting CP Academy in 2019 where he would subsequently sign his first professional football contract and began a full-blown professional football career.

Following his return to Sporting CP, he quickly rose through the ranks and made his first senior career appearance with the club’s reserve team in 2021.

Notably, Veiga could not break into Sporting CP’s first team after 31 appearances with the reserve team over his two-year spell. Towards the end of his spell with the reserve team, he was loaned to Bundesliga outfit, Augsburg, where he registered 13 Bundesliga appearances.
