Erling Haaland was subjected to regular security checks by balaclava-wearing cops leading to him needing to bring out his ID to prove his identity at a club in Marbella, Spain.
This was done during a police raid at a Costa beach club, with the superstar filmed putting his hands into his pocket to take out his ID after being surprised as he enjoyed himself at the popular hangout Playa Padre in the resort of Marbella.
This occurred after heavily armed police in riot gear were seen dashing into the beach club as a helicopter hovered overhead – in a raid that is believed to be part of “Operation Marbella”.
Reports indicate that Spanish police are conducting dramatic – but “routine” – surprise checks on venues amongst measures aimed at tackling organized crime.
Pictures of well-armed police officers mingling with swimwear-clad beach goers have become a near-frequent occurrence this summer on Marbella.
Coincidentally, Norwegian striker Haaland looks to have been unlucky as he was present in one of the random raids.

Erling Haaland was not accused of doing anything unlawful, however, he was subject to routine checks by the police.
Based on witnesses, about 200 officers were involved in the raid, as dramatic footage of the cops running into the club showed them wearing body armor before speaking to partygoers.
The club, Playa Padre, was formally opened in 2017 by Maria Bravo, good friend of Hollywood actress Eva Longoria.

It is believed that the former Borussia Dortmund man was heading back to Marbella from the windsurfers’ paradise of Tarifa when he drove into the fuel station to fuel his electric-blue Ferrari California.
