Marcus Thuram has taken a hilarious swipe at France captain Kylian Mbappe, claiming that he is more handsome than the Real Madrid man.
Marcus made these assertions after being mistaken for Mbappe in a press conference with France.
The Inter Milan striker expressed that he doesn’t look like a “ninja turtle”, a cartoon character that Kylian Mbappe has over time been said to have a semblance with.

Marcus Thuram said: “I am more handsome than Kylian. I don’t look like a ninja turtle!”
Didier Deschamps’ side are currently putting the finishing touches ahead of their first game in the 2024 European Championship, where they face Austria on Monday, June 17, 2024, by 08:00 PM (WAT).
Before the commencement of the explosive tournament, Kylian Mbappe was asked about how difficult it is to win the European Championship and the 25-year-old said:
“We haven’t won it for a long time, 24 years is a lot for a nation like ours.”
Mbappe added that the tournament is more difficult than the World Cup, as most of the teams are conversant with the style of play of each other.
Kylian Mbappe said: “The Euro is a difficult competition, more than a World Cup. All the teams know each other and the style of soccer is similar. Group stages are difficult.”
The only trophy eluding Mbappe internationally is the European Championship title and that could be the reason why he made such comments.
Les Blues are amongst the favorites to win the title, having displayed their brilliance over the years in international tournaments.
They have won the European Championship twice since they began competing at the tournament in 1960.

Meanwhile, Marcus Thuram has in the past linked Kylian Mbappe with a ninja turtle, having tagged the France captain to the Ninja-Turtles sponsor on Inter Milan’s kit on March 05, 2024.
There is certainly no doubt that Thuram and Mbappe share a hearty relationship and they will certainly see this as a hilarious comment.
Marcus Thuram is the son of French great Lillian Thuram, who was amongst the Les Blues squad that won the 2000 European Championship.
Marcus currently plies his trade with Inter Milan, having joined the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.
Marcus Thuram has played for several clubs in his career, including; Borussia Monchengladbach, Guingamp, and FC Sochaux.
The 26-year-old has made 295 club career appearances, scoring 77 goals and providing 49 assists in all competitions.
