Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the exit of four first team players, namely; Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, and Japhet Tangaga following the expiration of their contracts.
Spurs appreciated the four senior team players for their contributions to the club and also sent them their best wishes for the future.

Via a statement shared on the club’s website, Tottenham Hotspur also noted that Perisic and Dier have already completed moves to new clubs.
The Lilywhites wrote: “We can confirm the departures of Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga following the conclusion of their contracts.
“We said farewell to both Eric and Ivan in January as they headed off to join their new clubs, initially on loan.
“Defender Eric joined Bayern Munich, having made 365 appearances and scored 13 goals in nine-and-a-half years with us, while left winger Ivan linked up with HNK Hajduk Split, having appeared 50 times in our colors, scoring once, following his arrival in 2022. Both of their contracts with us have now come to an end.”
Recall that Ryan Sessegnon joined Tottenham Hotspur from Fulham in 2019, making 57 appearances and scoring 3 goals for the club across all competitions.
As for Japhet Tangaga, he is a product of Spurs academy, and the club rightly made this known in the statement shared on their website.
They wrote: “Central defender Japhet is a product of our Academy system and enjoyed his breakthrough campaign at first team level with us in 2019/20, memorably making his Premier League debut from the start against Liverpool in January of that season.
“Japhet went on to make 50 senior competitive appearances in our colors before embarking on loan spells at FC Augsburg in Germany and recently Millwall during the just concluded season.”
Youngsters Charlie Sayers, Billy Heaps, Kieran Morgan, and Han Willhoft-King have also exited the North London side.
Spurs In The 2023/24 Season
Tottenham Hotspur had a wishy-washy 2023/24 campaign, having started the season on an astonishing note.
They were at the summit of the Premier League table at some point during the campaign, but their campaign became rocky following injury issues.
Manager Ange Postecoglou was also displeased by the club’s mentality at the dying embers of the campaign after fans of the club were celebrating their defeat to Manchester City, which hampered rivals Arsenal from winning the Premier League.
Postecoglou was angered by the reactions of the fans and questioned the mentality of the English side.
It will be interesting to see how the club fares in the 2024/25 season, with reinforcements expected to be made in the 2024 summer transfer window.
The Lilywhites finished the Premier League campaign 5th on the log, with 66 points from 38 league matches.
Anyway, Spurs have Hearts, Queens Park Rangers, Vissel Kobe, and German giants Bayern Munich to play in preseason this summer.
