Over the years, football clubs have paid exorbitant fees to bring in managers some of which succeed by winning titles or making their respective clubs become title contenders.
Not all Expensive managers who were signed for these huge fees commanded success in their respective clubs, hence, their stay at their respective clubs was cut short.

- 1. Julian Naglesmann
The German tactician is one of the most expensive coaches in football history after Bayern Munich paid RB Leipzig £21.7 million to sign him.
He was one of the most sought-after young managers while he was at RB Leipzig. During his tenure at Bayern Munich, Nagelsmann won the German Bundesliga title and two German Super Cups.
He ended his tenure as a Bayern Munich manager with a 71.24% winning rate. Out of the 84 matches he managed, Nagelsmann won 60, drew 14, and lost just 10 matches.

Chelsea paid a compensation fee worth £21.5 million to bring Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea bosses were in love with Potter’s style of play at Brighton, and many thought he was going to bring back the Chelsea glory days.
However, the club failed to get the needed results, and he was sacked after 31 matches in charge.
