PSG striker, Kylian Mbappe is unlikely to move to either Liverpool or Manchester United next summer as he favoured a move to Real Madrid.

The world cup winner has never hidden his admiration for the Galacticos, having stated in numerous interviews that his dream is to play for the Spanish giant.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many clubs have been unable to do business as usual in the summer transfer. So, Madrid might not be pushing for Mbappe very soon, having failed to feel the impact of Eden Hazard in the squad.

The France superstar will have another opportunity to showcase his talent during the Euro 2020 that has been shifted to next year due to the coronavirus.

Will Kylian Mbappe leave PSG next summer for Real Madrid?

It was gathered that the 21-year-old has told PSG he wants to leave at the end of this season. This sparked an inevitable discussion about his next club.

But he had in an interview said he wants to win the Champions League for the Paris club at least before moving abroad. The club failed to win the Champions League trophy after losing to Bayern Munich in the final at Lisbon.

Mbappe, who joined the French champions for £166million in 2017 has gone on to become the world’s best young player by some distance, winning laurels and most importantly the World Cup along the way.

His contract with PSG will run out in 2022. This may prompt PSG to quickly sell him as his stock continues to rise or risk losing arguably the world’s most valuable player on a free transfer the following summer.

Meanwhile, only Real Madrid, Barcelona, and some top of clubs in world football could afford the staggering fee which Mbappe would command. This has made Liverpool and Man United to be linked with him.

French football expert, Julien Laurens, stated again that Mbappe has always had his heart set on Madrid.

“I think then if he goes to Real Madrid, it would be his ultimate dream.

“That’s where he’s always wanted to play, that’s where he went as an 11-year-old because they invited him to train with their youth team. He was that good that they wanted to sign him then.

“There’s no doubt at some point he’ll want to go to the Bernabeu and play there,” he told ESPN.
