Shakira, the former partner of Barcelona legend, Gerard Pique, is rumored to have reignited her relationship life, nearly 2 years after breaking up with the retired defender.
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, who recently claimed that Pique was “dragging her down”, appears to have found love again, in ex-Waterloo Road star, Lucien Laviscount.
Laviscount is famous for acting in popular British television drama series – Grange Hill and Waterloo Road.
Lucien Laviscount,31, was recently seen at an elegant Italian restaurant in New York City with Shakira, days after they appeared together in the music video for her song “Puntería.”
The pair wore coordinated all-black looks for their outing at the restaurant, and something looked to be brewing between them.
Lucien, who is also popular for being in the Netflix blockbuster “Emily in Paris” recently starred in Shakira’s recently released steamy music video “Punteria.”
As earlier indicated Lucien Laviscount is 16 years younger than Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, and he was born in Burnley, Lancashire.
It will be intriguing to see how the potential love affair between the duo will develop, with Shakira apparently having a massive interest in younger men.
The Colombian musician and songwriter is 10 years older than former boyfriend Gerard Pique, whom she shares two children with – Milan, aged 11, and Sasha, aged 9.
Why did Gerard Pique and Shakira split?
Their split reportedly came to the fore due to infidelity, with Gerard Pique apparently caught cheating with Clara Chía, whilst still dating Shakira.
Pique is currently dating Clara, with the pair understood to have begun dating in 2022, right after the former Manchester United man divorced the Colombian singer.
Meanwhile, Shakira has been reported to be dating several well-known individuals since her split with Gerard Pique, including; Formula 1 great Lewis Hamilton.
In June 2023, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was linked to Hamilton, but speculations went sprawling over the reason why the relationship might not work.
It is believed that Lewis Hamilton is searching for a child, and he wants a woman who can offer him that.
Shakira is a mother of two and is in the scientific menopause stage, meaning it might be difficult for her to conceive.
Additionally, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll has also been linked with Hollywood star Tom Cruise, and NBA player Jimmy Butler.
The 47-year-old has never gone public about any relationship since her separation from Pique, but many are keen to see what could be on the cards with regards to her relationship with Lucien Laviscount.
Gerard Pique has moved on from Shakira and as such, it will also be pleasing to see the music icon having a hearty relationship life.
