Jude Bellingham starred for England as the Three Lions survived a second consecutive international friendly defeat against Belgium at Wembley.

It was a cracker as the injury-stricken Gareth Southgate squad took on the Eagles of Belgium in their second friendly in the just-concluded March international break.

Having lost the first match to Brazil at the same venue, Southgate was expected to get his axes right and make amends against the Belgians.

Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for Belgium in the 11th minute but England fought back to level the score through Ivan Toney’s spot-kick.

Six minutes after the half-hour, Youri Tielemans struck again to bag his brace and restore Belgium’s lead.

The Domenico Tedesco men nearly ran out with a 2-1 victory from Wembley before Jude Bellingham scored deep into stoppage time to restore parity before the final whistle.

Endrick Strikes as Brazil draw Spain at Santiago Bernabeu

It was another cracker at the Santiago Bernabeu as European giants Spain traded tackles with Brazil.

Manchester City star Rodri opened the scoring for Spain, converting a spot-kick to give the home side the lead.

Six minutes after the half-hour, Dani Olmo made it 2-0 for La Roja after stealing his way through a crop of Brazilian defenders before firing into the back of the net from inside the box.

Before the break, Rodrygo halved the deficit for the Selecao, no thanks to a horrendous mistake by Spain’s goalkeeper.

Spain went into the break with a 2-1 lead before being pegged back to a 2-2 draw by substitute Endrick in the 50th minute.

Three minutes before regulation time, Rodri raced Spain into the lead, converting another spot-kick but the Brazilians were not ready to give in.

Deep into stoppage-time West Ham star Lucas Paqueta scored deep into added time to draw the game level. It ended 3-3 at the final whistle.

Other international friendlies result

In other too friendlies in the international break, Germany continued on their winning run against the Netherlands. Mittelstardt and Fulkrug scored in both halves to cancel out Veerman’s early goal and secure a 2-1 win for the Die Mannschaft.

It was Germany’s second win – a morale-boosting victory over the Dutch after they edged out France in the first game.

Portugal stumbled to their first shock defeat under the watch of Roberto Martinez. A second-half double by Gnezda Cerin and Elsnik condemn the European giants to a shock 2-0 loss against Slovenia.

France waved aside their loss to Germany in the first friendly to see off Chile in a five-goal thriller.

The Chileans raced into the lead six minutes into the game through Nunes before they were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Fofana in the 19th minute.

Kolo Muani completed the first-half comeback for Les Bleus, scoring in the 25th minute to make it 2-1.

Giroud extended the lead for the home side in the 72nd minute before Osorio struck for Chile to reduce the score margin. France won 3-2 after the final whistle.

2023 AFCON runners-up Nigeria were dealt a heavy blow, stumbling to a 2-0 defeat against Mali.

The Malians scored in both halves through Toure and Doumbia to condemn the Super Eagles to defeat. Toure opened the scoring for the Malians in the 18th minute before Doumbia scored three minutes from regulation time to seal the win.

Reigning African champions Cote D’Ivoire were 2-1 better than Uruguay in another top clash.
