Mason Greenwood finally broke his long-held silence after he netted his first goal for Getafe.
Greenwood’s effort had cancelled out Borja Mayoral’s early opener, but Celta twice hit back through Jonathan Bamba and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Domingos Duarte’s first-half dismissal for two yellow-card offences had left Getafe with 10 men but they held on for a point as they now sit 11th with 10 points from nine matches..
Greenwood’s goal came in his fifth match for the Madrid-based outfit and he took to Instagram on Monday to express his emotions
‘Happy to score my first goal for Getafe,’ he wrote earlier.
The 22-year-old’s post has so far collated over 1.3million likes on the social media platform too.
Greenwood made the switch to Spain on transfer deadline day after it was announced in August that he would continue his career away from Manchester United.
