Looking to bounce back from the draw against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal took a trip to the Vitality Stadium to play Bournemouth.

The Gunners basically strolled over Andoni Iraola’s side, scoring three well-taken goals.

Three different goal scorers got their name on the score sheet with Bukayo Saka scoring the opener in the 17th minute.

Saka, who was doubtful for the trip to the Vitality Stadium, was in a nice possession to convert a rebound for Arsenal after Gabriel Jesus’ attempt struck the bar.

In the 33rd minute, Kai Havertz was booked for a wrongly timed tackle on Philip Billing.

2 minutes before the conclusion of regulation time in the first 45, Eddie Nketiah was fouled in the box, after a beautiful one-two with Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Nketiah tried to continue the piece of play, but he was brought down by compatriot Max Aarons.

Martin Odegaard stepped up and scored the resultant penalty, striking the ball into the bottom left corner, with Neto diving in the opposite direction.

Mikel Arteta’s side went into the break in a comfortable position, leading Bournemouth by 2-0.

Following the restart of action in the second half, Arsenal continued to mount pressure on the Cherries and it eventually paid off once again in the 53rd minute.

Ryan Christie miscalculated his tackle inside the area and he took out Martin Odegaard, with the referee instantly pointing to the spot.

In a benevolent nature, Kai Havertz was handed the opportunity to score his first goal for the club.

Havertz dispatched the spot kick in style, also placing the ball in the opposite direction of the goalkeeper.

The Germany international had enough time to pick his spot, having seen goalkeeper Neto dive to the right side.

In the 59th minute, Andoni Iraola made his first set of substitutions in the game, introducing Luis Sinisterra for Marcus Tavernier and Dango Ouattara for Justin Kluivert.

Mikel Arteta also made his first set of changes in the 69th minute, sending on Takehiro Tomiyasu for Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Reiss Nelson for Eddie Nketiah.

The intensity started to simmer down as the game gradually approached its culmination.

Meanwhile, Iraola brought on Joe Rothwell for Philip Billing, and Arsenal also made their own substitution, introducing Fabio Viera for Bukayo Saka.

Gabriel Jesus saw a great chance to increase the lead for Arsenal in the 78th minute, running into the box after receiving a loose ball on the right.

However, Jesus couldn’t bury his attempt, as he dragged his effort wide.

In the 81st minute, Mikel Arteta made his last set of substitutions in the game, with Emile Smith Rowe coming into the fray to replace Kai Havertz.

Jorginho also made his way into the pitch, coming on for Declan Rice.

Andoni Iraola responded with his own piece of substitutions, bringing on Antoine Semenyo for Milos Kerkez in the 83rd minute. Adam Smith also came on Ryan Christie.

7 minutes were added by the referee following the expiration of regulation, and in the 3rd minute, Ben White put the icing on the cake off a header, via an assist from Captain Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal moved up to 2nd on the Premier League table, following the victory at the Vitality Stadium, while Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth slumped to the dreaded relegation zone, as they sit 18th on the log.
