Speaking in a recent interview, the Polish forward lambasted La Liga referees and the pattern of play for some teams in the division.

The former Borussia Dortmund attacker has also been a recipient of harsh tackles from defenders in the Spanish top-tier league.

Robert Lewandowski sustained an injury in Barcelona’s 4-3 win over Villareal, but he should be fit to play against Osasuna on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

Barcelona are unbeaten after three games in the 2023/24 La Liga season, with two wins and one draw.

Xavi Hernandez’s side began the league season, with a 0-0 draw away to Getafe, before defeating Cadiz by 2-0 at Camp Nou.

On Matchday 3, they defeated Villarreal by 4-3, courtesy of goals from Gavi, de Jong, Ferran Torres, and Robert Lewandowski.
