2023/24 Champions League group stage draw has been released as European clubs brace up for another exciting Champions League campaign.
It will be a rollercoaster as teams prepare for the elite and most followed club competition in the world.
Manchester City, who ended their decades deadlock on the European scene in style with a treble, will be hoping to defend the title they won last season.
All eyes will be on clubs from the top five leagues in Europe, who have dominated the competition over the years with Laliga, Premier League, Serie A, and Bundesliga clubs are expected to jostle for the crown, including PSG from France.
2023/24 Champions League schedule
As usual, the 2023/24 Champions League had teams divided into four pots of eight teams each. Teams in the four pots are scheduled in such a way that no team from the same country will be placed on the same group.
Also, a pot reveals opponents a team is not going to meet in the group stage. No team from each pot are allowed to face each other in the group stages.

The 2023/24 Champions League pot featured different clubs in four different pots of eight teams each.
Champions Manchester City were placed in Pot 1 alongside Europa League champions, Sevilla.
Also in Pot 1 were German champions, Bayern Munich, Laliga champions, Barcelona, Portuguese champions, Benfica, Italian champions, and Dutch champions, Feyenoord.

In Pot 2, Premier League giants Manchester United, who are returning to the competition after missing last season, led the pack. Also in Pot 2 were Laliga giants and last year’s semifinalist, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Porto, RB Leipzig, and Atletico Madrid.

AC Milan leads the pack in Pot 3 followed by Salzburg, Sporting Braga, Red Star Belgrade, PSV Eindhoven and FC Copenhagen.

The 2023/24 Champions League group stage draw as released by UEFA has four teams in eight groups.
Each team will play six matches each involving a home and away fixture with the top two teams progressing to the knockout while the third-placed team drops to Europa League knockout playoffs.
