Inter Miami have taken a better turn with David Beckham at the helm of affairs and the team now has one of the hottest tickets in the MLS.
This was made possible by the owner – Beckham – who recently signed Lionel Messi who is making waves through the gates at the DRV PNK Stadium.
This particular move by David Beckham and his men has seen Inter Miami become one of the most-watched football club in the Major League Soccer.
Inter Miami Before Now
48-year-old Beckham’s ownership of a sports team was enough to bring A list artist and celebrities to offer massive support to the team.
The Inter Miami owner is a well-connected man and people’s curiosity is driving the rich and famous to see what he has turned the club to.
Some celebrity while assing through Florida, or on holiday, always want to check out these developments – especially Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Olympic legend Usain Bolt.
Messi’s Star-Studded Debut
Messi’s debut against Cruz Azul was the equivalent of an Oscars red carpet which literally ended in a dramatic Hollywood movie plot twist.
That didn’t matter though for the new Inter Miami man, who had to entertain his new fans, with some paying over £1,000 for a ticket.
The former PSG player deep into stoppage time, stood over a freekick 30-yards from goal and wowed his new fans.
The goal was scored right before celebrities like Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Serena Williams, DJ Khaled, Camila Cabello, Rick Ross, Derek Jeter, Diddy, Becky G, and Marc Anthony.
They were all in awe of the football icon with some of them bringing out their phones to capture the moment with their device.
And it Wasn’t Just A Fad
Messi’s debut was massive, something of a make-believe and that actually enticed the A-List even more for subsequent games.
Super stars like Diddy (again), DJ Khaled (again), Camila Cabello (again), and Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro, stormed DRV PNK Stadium to watch Messi in action against Atlanta United in his second league game.
Messi led out his team alongside Khaled’s son, Asahd, just before the kick off of the game, and the boy was too joyous and even shed tears of joy to be standing next to his hero.
Those tears was probably wiped out as Messi’s second coming inspired a 4-0 demolition of an MLS rival.
Lionel Messi was the architect again, scoring a brace inside the first 22 minutes for the Inter Miami side.
Messi’s journey in the MLS league is followed by an Apple TV+ crew, who are always watching the developments closely.
