Aston Villa’s attacking threat has been keeping Pickford busy in the game.

Bailey and Douglas Luiz connected in the Everton box, and the Brazilian gave the ball out to the new signing. Diaby’s shot went to the England goalkeeper.

Pickford saw the danger of Aston Villa scoring the third goal in the 33rd minute of the match. However, he stood closer to the goal post to save Diaby’s volley. That would have been a goal of the season contender.

Before the end of the first half, Everton’s Danjuma had his shot saved by an in-form Martinez. It was Everton’s first shot on target.

The second half was a different ballgame due to Aston Villa applying more pressure on Everton’s backline.

Leon Bailey is in the form of his life, scoring a beautiful goal to make it 3-0 in favor of Everton.

After the third goal from Aston Villa, the Everton fans did not show interest in watching the match till the end because it was embarrassing.

In the 60th minute, Young swung a corner into the Aston Villa box, with Everton Maupay having the better of Villas’ defenders, although his attempt was saved by Martinez, who was not troubled a lot in the encounter.
