For every transfer window there will always be a transfer drama involving clubs and players who are faced with uncertainty over their future.

There are players who are still considering whether to sign a new deal or move to another club in the 2023 transfer window. Some clubs are still apart in terms of transfer fees.

Some football clubs are not ready to sell their own players below their valuations which most times clash with the desires of the players.

Below are the players with uncertainty over their future in the 2023 transfer window

1. Harry Kane

The Tottenham striker does not want to sign a new deal in a bid to move to another football club in order to win his first major trophy since the start of his career.

He had given Tottenham the best he could, but Tottenham owner Joe Lewis had failed to back him up with big name signings.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich are interested in signing the player this summer, but the asking price of Daniel Levy remains a stumbling block to his move away from North London.

For Manchester United, they are hoping Harry Kane does not sign a new deal and becomes a free agent in the 2024 summer transfer window.

Although, for this summer transfer window, Manchester United had moved on to signing Rasmus Holjund as their new number 9, Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, are not willing to pay Daniel Levy’s asking price of £100 million.

Kane is left with only Bayern Munich showing more interest in him. Bayern Munich representatives are set to meet Daniel Levy to discuss the Harry Kane transfer saga.

Not only that, they are ready for the third bid to tempt Tottenham into selling the England international. Thomas Tuchel will be glad if Harry Kane finally joins the German Bundesliga giants.

2. Victor Osimhen

The Nigerian International is the most sought-after player in this summer transfer window due to his impressive performances last season. The striker scored 26 goals last season to help Napoli win their first Serie A title since 1990.

He was Napoli’s most important player in the 2022–23 season; if he had been present against AC Milan in the Champions League quarterfinals, Napoli would have won the match easily.

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the player.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis claimed only Paris Saint-Germain are capable of paying Victor Osimhen’s asking price of €200 million, ruling out Osimhen’s move to Chelsea and Manchester United.

De Laurentiis rejected a €140 million bid from Al-Hilal in the Saudi Arabia Pro League. The Saudi Arabia team is also interested in offering the striker €1 million for his weekly wages.

Also, there are rumors that he is likely to sign a new deal this season. However, in the future, he is likely to join a European giant in a bid to win bigger trophies.

Osimhen is an ambitious player, and with consistency on his path, he may end up becoming the greatest Nigerian player of all time.

3. Kylian Mbappe

The Paris Saint-Germain winger had failed to renew his contract, and he is looking forward to joining a new club in the 2024 summer transfer window.

Mbappe got an offer of £259 million from Al-Hilal for a one-year contract, with Al-Hilal representatives traveling to France to discuss a possible move.

However, Mbappe rejected the Saudi Arabian giant as he wanted to continue playing in Europe. Furthermore, Paris Saint-Germain are waiting for a nice bidder due to the fact that they don’t want to lose the player for free.

Transfer Saga

It was rumored that Liverpool were hoping to get the player on loan, but Jurgen Klopp confirmed that was not true.

It was also reported that Paris Saint-Germain are hoping Chelsea will send a bid for Kylian Mbappe before the end of the transfer window.

Real Madrid remain confident that Kylian Mbappe will join them at the beginning of next summer.

Transfer Saga

The French club are considering making a formal complaint to FIFA about Real Madrid over fears that Mbappe had agreed personal terms with the Spanish giant six months ago.

Paris Saint-Germain may also lose Neymar Jr. before the end of the transfer window; he is currently waiting for the right suitors after the Club Ultras claimed they want him out of the club.

Paris Saint-Germain are focused on other targets like Randal Kolo Muani and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

4. Ousmane Dembele

The Transfer saga between Barcelona and Dembele is something to watch out for before the transfer window ends.

The Barcelona right-winger had already informed Xavi of his intention to leave. Xavi would not stand in the way of the player.

It is important to note that his release clause stands at £50 million until July 31st and changes to £100 million starting August 1, 2023.

Paris Saint-Germain, who are on a quest to win their first Champions League, would sign Dembele to fill in the shoes of Kylian Mbappe.
