Vinicius Jr, Real Madrid red hot winger has chosen Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar Jr as his idol during their nice time together.
The Brazilian International took to his Instagram page to share the picture and clip of the Brazilian duo sitting and eating together at a restaurant in Rio de Janeiro before the start of Real Madrid’s pre-season tour.
Vinicius Jr was seen sitting on the right side while Neymar Jr was seen on the left, the two were noticed talking as the former Flamengo player put on a wild smile on his face.
The 22-year-old Real Madrid attacker was seen wearing a black shirt with a sliver chain, silver earrings, and a gold wristwatch. On the other hand, Neymar Jr. was seen donning a gray color shirt, with a silver chain, silver wristwatch, and a black color cap.
Their table was noticably full of several meals and drinks while the duo looks happy to share the equality moment together.
In the next flip of the pictures, Vinicius Jr was seen playing a soccer beach game with his so-called idol Neymar Jr, Vini was seen heading the ball to the former FC Barcelona forward.
Neymar Jr, the 31-year-old former Santos player was filmed throwing the ball to Vini before he laid to the ground with a smile on his face.
Vinicius Jr, who grew up idolizing Neymar shared appreciated the Brazilian icon via the caption of the photos he shared on social medial on Friday, 7th of July, 2023.
He wrote: “When you become friends with your idol and he comes to spend the day with you”.
He added: “Never give up on your dreams, never made so much sense, thank you so much and I love you”.
Both football players are essential for Brazil’s national team. Neymar Jr is the country’s all-time top goalscorer recording 77 goals in 124 appearances but injuries cut his time shot during the 2022/2023 Ligue 1 season for his club side.
Before the former FC Barcelona forward was ruled out of the previous season with an ankle injury, he recorded 18 goals and registered 17 assists in 29 matches in all competitions for the French powerhouse.
Neymar Jr has been recently linked with a move away from Paris Saint Germain this summer, with several European clubs keen on his services. His former club, FC Barcelona are among the player’s potential new destination.
In addition, he underwent ankle surgery in the spring but he is expected to be ready for his club pre-season tour of Japan in two weeks.
Vinicius Jr, on the other hand, made 23 appearances for Brazil’s national team, scoring three goals. The red hot attacker has been an extremely good player for Real Madrid in the previous seasons.
The 22-year-old scored 23 goals and registered 21 assists in 55 appearances in all competitions for the 14 times UEFA Champions League-winning club last season.
What’s next for Vinicius Jr and Neymar Jr?
The duo will depart for their club camp in preparation for the pre-season tour before possibly linking up in the national team during the upcoming International break in September 2023.
