“Only good memories, great victories, and memorable titles won by your side”.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much, I will never forget you”.

“And of course last but not least, I thank my family, my friends, who have always been by my side in good and bad times”.

“Without forgetting my agent, Karim as well as my advisers Rachid and Driss who have given me such precious support since my beginnings and have been a major part of my success”.

“These past times have not been easy for us and our family, but we were able to stay united to face rumors and lies”.

“See you soon for new adventures on the pitch with Al-Ittihad and the French national team”.

In response to Kante’s letter to the Blues, Chelsea co-director Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley thanked Kante for his service at the club.

They said: “N’Golo’s impact and influence during his time at Chelsea cannot be cannot be overstated”.

N’Golo Kante joined the Blues in the summer of 2016 in a deal worth £32 million after playing a key role in Leicester City’s incredible title achievement in the 2015/2016 English Premier League season.

During the 32-year-old time at Chelsea, the Frenchman went on to make 269 appearances for the Blues. Kante won the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup, and FA Cup.

However, the two times English Premier League winner will play alongside former France teammate Karim Benzema at Al-Ittihad.

Kante won the league in his debut season with Chelsea, under Antonio Conte, then added the FA Cup and Europa League for the next two years, in addition to the World Cup with France.

However, Kante will be most cherished by Chelsea faithfuls for his contributions to the club’s 2021 Champions League title run.

The 32-year-old Kante was only able to play seven Premier League matches during his final season at Chelsea due to injury.

After lengthy contract negotiations with the West London club, the 32-year-old decided to leave the Blues at the end of the season.
