The only person ahead of him now is Ferguson with 49 trophy collections.

The coach from Santpedor has recently achieved his third Champions League victory, placing him among the most successful coaches in the history of football in terms of titles won.

The former Catalan coach has achieved a total of 35 titles in his career as a coach with the recent addition of the European Cup, surpassing Mircea Lucescu’s record of 34 titles.

While some statisticians may give the same number of titles to the Catalan and Romanian, it has been reported by MARCA that Lucescu’s Serie B win with Brescia in 1991/92 was not taken into account.

Pep achieved his second treble in history, the first being with Barcelona in 2008/09.
