Neymar got a special apology from his friend Lewis Hamilton after he snubbed the Brazilian at the 2023 Monaco GP track walk.
Despite being friends, the Mercedes driver gave his old pal the cold shoulder when the Brazilian greeted him during the 2023 Monaco GP track walk.
The PSG forward called out to Hamilton, the Briton whizzed past in his electric scooter.
However, Hamilton decided to make amends with Neymar as he invited him inside his Mercedes garage for an exclusive tour.
The former Barcelona player got the opportunity of checking out the seven times world champion’s Mercedes W14, which reportedly cost the Silver Arrows around $14,000,000 to build.
Well, for me that was enough compensation for being snubbed in public, and that should be enough to please Neymar.
The Brazilian who is currently not in good terms with the PSG executives after going to the Grand Prix last week, also used the F word on Hamilton.
Neymar was invited to the 2023 Monaco GP last weekend as Red Bull’s guest, and whilst giving interview, the PSG Star stepped away from the interviewer in a bid to get the attention of the F1 legend but all to no avail.
The snubbing by Lewis Hamilton on Neymar made rounds on the internet and the sign off became an instant meme among F1 race fans.
Hamilton however reacted to the incident after the Sunday race, he posted on his Instagram story and tagged Neymar with the caption “My bad bro.”
The PSG forward also reacted to the post in a rather unfriendly manner which read “F**k you!”, which we can call banter.
Lewis Hamilton then took it upon himself to apologize properly, by honoring the Brazilian legend with a tour of his Mercedes Garage.
The Brazilian spent quality time with his friend Lewis Hamilton this time after appearing in the Monaco GP last weekend.
Both superstars laughed off the snub in Monaco and the video posted by Futballnews on Twitter showed Neymar enjoying the comfort of Hamilton’s car.
Hamilton and Neymar have been good friends since 2016 and they have always shown support for each other after crucial games or victories.
The duo have also been spotted several times together being in attendance of NBA matches, fashion shows, football games, and F1 races.
The Mercedes driver previously revealed in 2021 that he always stays in touch with the former Barcelona and Santos attacker.
The duo are also popular in Neymar’s native Brazil and the seven-time world champion was conferred honorary citizenship in the South American nation in 2022, for which the PSG star showed his support.
