For the first time in decades, Arsenal mounted an incredible Premier League title challenge, staying at the top for 72% of the season – the most a team has maintained the top spot in the history of the Premier League and ended up not winning the title.

Three consecutive draws against Liverpool, West Ham, and Southampton, including a heavy 4-1 defeat to Manchester City dealt a final blow to Arsenal Premier League title hopes.
