Cristiano Ronaldo Urges Al Nassr To Sign Fellow Countryman Pepe

Cristiano Ronaldo who is the current captain of Al-Nassr has urged the club to sign his fellow countryman Pepe from FC Porto.

Pepe who is 40 years old is a veteran defender who plays as a defensive midfielder or center-back for FC Porto and Portugal’s national team.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe were former teammates at Real Madrid and the both were handy in the trophies that the Los Blancos won between 2007 and 2017.

Recall we reported that Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr as a free agent from Manchester United after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

The news was brought to light by the Portuguese football transfer guru Pedro Almeida, who disclosed it on his Twitter handle (@pedrogva6) on Friday.

Pepe has played for Marítimo, Porto, Real Madrid, and Beşiktaş, with individual and team success with the middle two clubs.

He has also won three La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions League titles, two Copa del Rey titles and made 334 appearances for Real Madrid.

Pepe has also won four Primeira Liga titles and three Taça de Portugal titles with FC Porto in the Portuguese League.

Pepe was born and bred in Brazil but opted to play for Portugal’s national team and he has earned 133 caps since his debut in 2007.
