Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has written his name in the history books once again after becoming the first player to score 50 goals in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.

The Portuguese captain converted a penalty and tapped in the Paulo Dybala assist, to give the Bianconerri two goal lead over Lazio before Ciro Immobile got one back from the spot.

He has now reached a half-century of goals in the Italian top-flight since his arrival in Turin. He is now the fastest player to do so since 1995.

By the virtue of this feat, the 35-year-old Portuguese has also equalled Giuseppe Signori’s 1994-95 record for penalty goals in a season, with 12 successful conversions from inside the area.

Juve will win the league provided they win their next two matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo says team’s performance matters to him than records

Reacting to his feat, Ronaldo said that records are nice, but the team matters to him most.

“We knew it was a very difficult game against a team having a great season, but we knew this was a big opportunity to win, we were at home. We’re very happy,” Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia.

Ronaldo whoo also became the fastest player in the era of three points for a win to reach 50 goals from 61 games, beat Andriy Shevchenko’s record of 68 matches at Milan.

“Records are always important, but the important thing is that the team wins. We are a phenomenal team and we showed that again today, although we always want to improve and raise the bar.

“These things are nice, but the Capocannoniere title is a natural process that comes as a consequence of scoring to win games for the team.”

He said with four games to go, the Bianconneri cannot afford to lose focus.
