With Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, Erik ten Hag is rumored to be interested in signing a striker this summer.

And Kane, whose current Spurs contract has 15 months left, is reportedly being watched by the Red Devils.

Spurs are asking for more than £100 million for their prized asset, despite the England captain’s contract issue.

Recent reports claim that the club will not consider bids for him that are less than their high asking price.

Prior to signing Erling Haaland last summer, Manchester City was interested in Kane, who turns 30 in July.

Gary Neville thinks that the acquisition of Haaland by Man City precludes a bid for Harry Kane, hence, the Sky Sports analyst sees a transfer to Old Trafford as the ‘most likely’ option.

“He’s a great professional and I think if Harry Kane could leave now and get him an exit out of there to a club in Manchester – probably United or City, I think he would take that opportunity,” the former United player said.

“Now, it’s more than likely that it wouldn’t be City because of their [Erling] Haaland expenditure and what they’ve done with him. Manchester United are desperate for a centre-forward.”

Former Red Devils player Neville contributed the following as well: “Tottenham fans will be furious with me – they’ll say it’s me coming on television trying to get their player to Manchester United. It isn’t. It just looks to me like at this moment in time that the most likely move.”

Kane has scored an astounding 18 goals in the Premier League this season, and he is having another productive season at Spurs.

This season, only Haaland has more league goals than the England striker and captain.

    Harry Kane

Harry Edward Kane MBE, an English professional football player who plays as a striker for Premier League Club Tottenham Hotspur and captains the England side, was born on July 28, 1993.

Kane is recognized as one of the top strikers in the world since he scores goals frequently and plays well with his teammates.

He is jointly the top goalscorer in history for both Tottenham and England. He also has the third-most goals scored in the history of the Premier League.

Kane started his career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he quickly advanced through the organization’s junior academy before being promoted to the senior team in 2009 at the age of 16. Kane was born and raised in the London district of Waltham Forest.

Leyton Orient, Millwall, Leicester City, and Norwich City are just a few of the clubs he was on loan to in the English football league. With Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as manager in 2014, Kane’s influence at Tottenham grew.

Kane was the second-highest goal scorer in the Premier League during his first full season with the team, scoring 31 goals in all competitions. He also won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Will Manchester United Spend That Much On Kane?

Harry Kane, the captain of England, might reportedly cost Manchester United more than £300 million if he decides to transfer this summer from Tottenham to the Red Devils.

According to reports, that represents the total cost of a potential transfer, including the striker’s pay from Spurs, for a move that appears to be possible at the end of the current campaign.

By virtue of the fact that Kane’s deal at White Hart Lane will end in June 2024, this summer will be Spurs’ final opportunity to demand a transfer fee for their star player before he is free to talk to clubs about a move.

A potential massive £100 million transfer price, together with a number of add-ons that would be typical for a deal involving one of the top names in the Premier League, makes up the total cost of a move.

A further story claims that Manchester City was offered £375,000 a week to sign Kane last summer, and this could be the requested salary once more.

Kane did wish to leave Spurs in the summer of 2021, but there is still no proof that he is going to do so again. Yet if a team shows interest this summer, Spurs will have to consider their options if they can’t lock up the 29-year-old with a new deal. The Spurs didn’t want him to leave and now they are ready to allow Harry Kane find a job somewhere else.
