Zlatan Ibrahimovic has resumed full training for the first time since his summer knee surgery, which kept him out of action for nearly nine months.
With an ACL injury, the 41-year-old played the remainder of AC Milan’s 2021-2022 season, assisting the Rossoneri in capturing their first league championship in more than ten years.
Since Milan has only won one of their last nine games across all competitions, he might be included in the team that will take on Torino on Friday.
Milan lost all four of their games, including the Italian Super Cup final, which they lost to Inter Milan 3-0. They also lost to Lazio 4-0, Sassuolo 5-2, and Inter Milan 1-0.
Coach Stefano Pioli said last week that: “Ibrahimovic has always been of great importance for this team.”
