Just hours before Manchester United officials announced they were terminating his contract, a huge lorry moved the striker’s prized £150,000 Cadillac Escalade, which Wag Georgina Rodriguez gave him for his 37th birthday, and his £300,000 Bentley Flying Spur from his rented mansion in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

Observers saw the same cars being delivered a week later after traveling 1,500 miles to an upscale car valet garage on the outskirts of his hometown.

A bystander remarked: “The delivery driver tried to unload them with as little fuss as possible, but the lorry blocked the road and that created a bit of a traffic backlog.”

“Then the Escalade and the Bentley rolled out of the back and they are very eye-catching.”

“They tried to get them into the garage as quickly as possible, but the cars still had British plates so it was pretty easy to work out they belong to Ronaldo.”

“Maybe he wants to get them home while he plots his next move on the football pitch.”

After watching Ronaldo play for Sporting Lisbon in a friendly match against the Red Devils, Sir Alex Ferguson convinced United to buy the teenager in 2003.

After 6 successful years at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo left for Real Madrid. He made his way back to Old Trafford in 2021, after spending 9 years in Madrid and three years at Juventus.

After leaving United earlier this month as a result of a shocking appearance with Piers Morgan’s TalkTV show in which he criticized the United owners and manager Erik ten Hag, he has been linked with a return to Lisbon.

His mother Dolores would be happy if Ronaldo returns to Lisbon, as she stated in September 2021: “Ronaldo has to come back (to Sporting), he’d be here for me. He likes watching Sporting’s games.”

“I’ve already told him: ‘Son, before I die I want to see you return to Sporting’. ‘Let’s see…’, he said.”

Ronaldo is the owner of a hotel and a £6 million penthouse apartment in the city.

The Portuguese superstar has reportedly agreed to a £173 million contract with Saudi side Al Nassr, which will last until he is 40, according to Spanish media on Wednesday.

After winning their first two group matches, Ronaldo and his Portugal teammates have already clinched a spot in the World Cup’s round of 16.

What transpired between Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo?

By mutual consent, Cristiano Ronaldo has departed Manchester United.

The team wished him and his family well for the future and thanked him for his enormous contribution throughout his two stints at Old Trafford, where he scored 145 goals in 346 games.

In a statement of his own, Ronaldo stated: “Following conversations with Manchester United we have mutually agreed to end our contract early. “I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change. However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge”

After asserting that United’s owners, the Glazers, “don’t care” about the Premier League club and that he “doesn’t respect” manager Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo made headlines. The forward also criticized former United staffers Ralf Rangnick, Wayne Rooney, and Gary Neville.

Cristiano Ronaldo claimed he was on the verge of signing with Manchester City but changed his mind after speaking with Sir Alex Ferguson.

What next for Ronaldo?

He was unable to leave throughout the summer, but the World Cup might allow him to return to the storefront.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be courted by clubs in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, but it does not appear that the financial aspect will be significant in his decision over the next and, possibly, final, stage of his career.
