German Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich have reportedly reached out to Tottenham Hotspur star player Harry Kane and his representatives to discuss a possible move to the Bundesliga giants next summer.
However, Harry Kane is currently under contract with Tottenham Hotspur which is expected to expire in 2024 but the Englishman has previously shown interest in leaving the club as he wants to start winning trophies.
Bayern Munich is the latest team to show interest in securing his services after their star player Robert Lewandowski left this summer.
Bayern Munich see Harry Kane as a perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski and a guarantee for at least a title per season at the club plays to their advantage.
According to some German newspapers, the current Bundesliga champions have contacted Harry Kane’s agent to start talking about a deal ahead of the 2023-2024 campaign.
However, no official offer has been made but Bayern are believed to have gotten a positive response from Harry Kane’s representatives.
It is expected that the Bundesliga giants will have a difficult time luring Kane away from Tottenham, but they are aware that the title guarantee available for him at the club will be advantageous in the negotiation.
The 28-year-old has received numerous individual honors, but Tottenham Hotspur has had trouble winning a trophy and he is eager to fill his trophy cabinet with some collective trophies.

Therefore, a transfer next summer might be advantageous for both Kane and the German giants as the Tottenham forward could finally acquire some team silverware and Bayern Munich could win another domestic championship.
Recently, FC Bayern Munich Chief Executive Officer Oliver Kahh revealed that it would be a dream to sign the goal machine and said it was something the club would consider doing in the future.
While speaking during an interview with Sport Bild, Oliver Kahn said: ‘He’s under contract with Tottenham. Sure, an absolute top striker, but that’s all a dream of the future.’
Harry Kane who signed a six years contract with the London club in 2018 has only two years left and the fact that he showed interest in leaving last summer could be a motivating factor for his suitors next summer.
The Englishman was eager to join the current English Premier League champions Manchester City but Tottenham Hotspur rejected many offers from the Manchester club. This left the 28-year-old with no other option than to stay back at Tottenham throughout last season as they went another season without a trophy.
Harry Kane is currently the highest goal scorer in the history of the club with 247 goals in 385 games in all competitions.
