Manchester United star player Cristiano Ronaldo has allegedly been given a £250million megadeal to finish his career in Saudi Arabia.

Recall that the Portugal hitman has been on the news because he’s uncertain about his future with Manchester United after he asked United to sell him.

Now, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club is ready to offer him a huge contract if he joins them. According to CNN Portugal, the Saudi Arabian club will pay Manchester United a huge transfer fee of around £25m to sign him.

They will also place Cristiano Ronaldo on a £105m-per-season salary for over two years. The mouthwatering offer will also include immediate payment of £20 million to Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes.

English Premier League giants Manchester United paid a total of £12.85 million to Juventus last season for the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old signed a two years contract with his former club and is currently in his final season even though the contract has an option to add an extra year.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford came with plenty of goals as the five times Ballon d’Or winner ended last season with 24 goals in all competitions and was also the highest goal scorer at United.

However, Manchester United had a very difficult season which saw them sack their former manager but still finished sixth in the English Premier League.

This means that the club will only play in the UEFA Europa League next season and Cristiano Ronaldo is not ready for that. It has resulted in the Portuguese asking to be released if any offer comes in for him this summer.

But Man United’s new manager Erik ten Hag is not ready to let Ronaldo leave and has revealed that the star player is not for sale. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently not with the Manchester United squad for their pre-season tour in Asia and is yet to return to Manchester.

The 37-year-old is still in Portugal as he claims that he’s having some family issues. New manager Erik ten Hag has also refused to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future after some journalists in Melbourne asked him about it.

‘We made a statement and nothing has changed,’ said Ten Hag ahead of Friday’s friendly match against A-League outfit Melbourne Victory at the MCG.

However, he answered a few questions about Ronaldo when his team were in Bangkok for a pre-season game against Liverpool.

Speaking before their 4-0 win over Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday, Erik ten Hag admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale and won’t leave this summer. He added that Cristiano Ronaldo is part of his plans with the team next season and he’s only away because of personal issues.
